ABOUT

[] The Mind’s Eye strives to challenge your perception of beauty and aesthetics to embrace diversity within the creative arts. Music, fashion, literature and photography are only a few examples of artistic mediums that are expressed here. You will witness a variety of artistic methods that emphasize the essence of creativity, spiritual freedom, individuality and unconfined imaginative energy. The Mind’s Eye also aims to elevate critical thought through discussing or analyzing artistic context or anything that triggers the wheels within the brain. Here, mankind’s third eye is personified and brought to life through an array of artistic elements. Here, there are no rules. Creative self-expression defies rules by nature.

[] The author of The Mind’s Eye is Justin Sander, a 20-year-old student from San Diego, California. Ever since he can remember, he was blissfully plagued with an active imagination and an obsession for creativity. Reading comic books as a kid inspired him to draw every chance that he could. Justin also had a deep appreciation for literature at a young age and buried himself in a variety of books. Later in life, as his artistic capabilities matured, he designed a line of t-shirts and created a handful of logos for companies and businesses. Currently, Justin plays guitar and writes lyrics/songs as a personal creative outlet. He states music as his most profound passion. As a journalism major at the University of Oregon, he is intrigued by communicating to the masses through writing. He views blogging as the punk-rock of journalism; a proactive and do-it-yourself medium of communication. Justin says he has big plans for the future and hopes to transform his humble blog into something extraordinary.
